Terms of Use

Fair terms for
a fair day's work.

These terms cover the use of the STANDR platform. Last updated October 2026.

1. The service

STANDR is an operational system for scaffolding contractors. It holds your contracts, scaffold register, weekly planning, inspections, workforce, materials and commercial records in one place.

We may improve or change the service over time. If a change is significant, we will tell you before it takes effect.

2. Accounts and eligible use

STANDR is provided for business use by scaffolding companies and their staff. Each person signs in with their own account, and you are responsible for keeping passwords secure and for what happens under your accounts.

You must tell us promptly if you believe an account has been compromised.

3. Your data

Your company's records — customers, scaffolds, inspections, quotes, invoices and everything else you enter — belong to you. We store and process that data on your behalf only to run the service, and each company's data is isolated from every other.

If you stop using STANDR, we will make your data available to you for a reasonable period before deletion.

4. Acceptable use

Do not misuse the service: no attempting to access another company's data, no disrupting or probing the platform, no unlawful content, and no reselling access without agreement.

We may suspend accounts that put the service or other customers at risk, after telling you where practical.

5. Fees

STANDR is billed as agreed between us — per company, per user or per module as set out in your sign-up or order. Fees are due in advance unless agreed otherwise, and access continues while your subscription is active and paid.

6. Availability and liability

We work hard to keep STANDR available and your records accurate, but the service is provided "as is". We do not accept liability for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit or turnover, beyond what cannot be excluded by law.

Nothing in these terms limits our responsibility for your data beyond the commitments in section 3, or liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

STANDR helps you keep records; it does not replace your professional judgement on site safety or compliance.

7. These terms

These terms are the default basis on which STANDR is used. If we sign a separate contract with your company, that contract takes precedence where it conflicts.

They are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.

We may update these terms from time to time; the current version is always published on this page.
